The new Google browser Chrome identifies every user by assigning a unique id to every installation. If you want to anonymize your Windows version of Chrome do the following:
it should look like this: Â Â "safe_browsing": { Â Â Â Â Â "client_key": "0", Â Â Â Â Â "wrapped_key": "0" Â Â }, further down: Â Â "user_experience_metrics": { Â Â Â Â Â "client_id": "0", Â Â Â Â Â "client_id_timestamp": "0",
Hint: There is a tool called UnChrome, which sets user_experience_metrics to 0, but leaves safe_browsing as it is. I do not recommend using this tool. If you want a tool, you might want to try silentio. |
